A Place I Call Home
A Place I Call Home is a photographic project which documents the effects of the 2008 economic crisis on the economy of a small, commuter town, namely Edenderry, Co.Offaly. The project is heavily influenced by the Japanese activity known as Haikyo which translates as 'ruins' and is is associated with the exploration of abandoned, urban places and dereliction.
Lux et Umbra
Lux et Umbra is a photographic project that focuses on portraiture. The series looks into renaissance painting and the ‘chiaroscuro’ lighting technique, which uses dramatic contrast. The name of the project is the direct Latin translation of ‘light and shade’.
